Crown Molding, Light Rail and Toe Kick
Molding is what makes stock cabinets look built in. Ankee Cabinet offers more than 450 trim pieces in 19 finishes: crown molding for the top of wall cabinets, light rail under them, toe kick at the base, and scribe and shoe molding to close small gaps against walls and floors.
All trim is made in the same finish as our cabinets and ships nationwide. We have supplied kitchens since 2002.
How much molding to order
- Crown: measure the total run of wall cabinets plus exposed returns, then add 10% for cuts.
- Toe kick: measure the length of all base cabinets and islands.
- Light rail: run it under wall cabinets to hide under-cabinet lights.
- Scribe: use it where cabinets meet uneven walls.
Pair with wall cabinets and fillers.
