A tall cabinet turns one narrow wall into a full pantry. Ankee Cabinet offers more than 300 tall cabinets in 19 finishes, from 15″ to 30″ wide and 84″, 90″ and 96″ high, so you can store dry goods, brooms or small appliances in the same finish as the rest of the kitchen.
We have supplied kitchens nationwide since 2002. Tall cabinets use the same solid wood doors and soft-close hardware as our base and wall units, and our designers will check the height against your ceiling before you order.
How to choose a tall cabinet
- Height: 84″ lines up with 30″ uppers under 8 ft ceilings. 90″ and 96″ match 36″ and 42″ uppers.
- Width: 18″ suits a narrow gap, 24″ is the most useful pantry, 30″ gives the most shelf space.
- Depth: 24″ deep pantries line up with base cabinets and refrigerators.
- Inside: add roll-out trays so the back of the shelf is easy to reach.
Pair a tall pantry with a refrigerator end panel for a built-in look.

Tall cabinet FAQ
Will a 96″ pantry fit under an 8 ft ceiling?
It fits, but leaves no room for crown molding. Most 8 ft kitchens use 84″ or 90″.
Do tall cabinets need to be anchored?
Yes. Always fix them to the wall studs.
Can I order a sample door first?
Yes, sample doors are available for every finish.
